Creative Critical Reflection

Question 1:
How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

I've always wanted to make a podcast-like recording, so I saw this as the perfect opportunity to answer the first question.

Question 2:
How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

To answer this question, I decided to create my own promotional animation showing readers that my magazine can be found online and that they're able to interact with the magazine by submitting their own recipes that could be featured.

Question 3:

How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

My production skills grew tremendously throughout this project, especially in Photoshop. I had no idea how to use the program at the start of this project, but now I feel comfortable using it. To exemplify this, I've included a time-lapse showing the process of how I edited a photo for my magazine.

Question 4:

How did you integrate technologies - software, hardware, and online - in this project?

To best answer this question, I chose to create a presentation on Google Slides detailing the different programs I used and the kind of experience I had with them.
