Table of Contents: Final

The table of contents is my favorite part of the magazine because of how well the parts of it come together. The main image is a great visual of the theme of my magazine, gnocchi, and the placement of the title brings some depth to the spread. I'm glad that I chose to make my table of contents span two pages instead of just one as it allowed me to make my featured image shine.

First Draft:

Final Version:

The table of contents had the least amount of changes compared to the cover page and double-page spread. The most noticeably different aspect of this spread is that "ntents" from "Contents" is way too far to the left on the first draft. This defeats the purpose of breaking up the title because it reduces the flow of the spread. The other part of the final table of contents that differs from the first draft is that the first cover line on the second page was subtly reworded from reading "A look inside this crazy restaurant" to "A look inside this mind-blowing restaurant". This small word was changed because mindblowing is much more of an attention-grabbing word than crazy is.
