A double page spread consists of an article and at least one image that takes up two pages, and it's the highlight of my magazine. After learning about the different components of a double page spread, I began to research and analyze three different food magazines.

In brief, this analysis was very beneficial for me. I got a better idea of what double page spreads look like and how they all can differ in layout, design, color palette, and aesthetic. In the future, I'm going to utilize what I learned from this assignment in my actual double page spread and I feel a lot more comfortable going into the final magazine with this background information.
